The Race

THE RAD RACE ONE TWENTY WEEKEND INCLUDES TWO SEPERATE RACES:

  • Saturday 15th
    ±4.3k – ±380MOA

Each team has an individual start time. The added final times of the first 3 team members to cross the finish line at Bildstöckle produce the team's final time for the ranking.

The final ranking of the TTT will determine exactly where in the starting grid your team will start (e.g., Block A, B, C).

The first 30 teams of the TTT will make it into starting Block A. Teams 31-60 of the TTT classification will start in Block B. Teams 61-90 will start in Block C. Teams 91-120 will also start in Block C. Teams 121-250 will start in Block D.

Teams that skip the prologue on Saturday will automatically start from the last starting block for the road race on Sunday.

  • Sunday 16th

    126KM – 2230MOA

Your team will start from the start block according to your TTT result from Saturday (cf. above). The final time of the 3rd rider of each male or female team to cross the finish line will represent this team's final time in the overall ranking.

I.e. the team with the fastest 3rd rider will win the Rad Race One Twenty.

    Mixed teams special rules:

For all mixed teams, it is necessary to have at least 3 people of 2 separate genders finishing the race.
Example: A mixed team has 5 members. 4 female riders and 1 male rider. They pass the finish line in the following order:

    1. female1
    2. female2
    3. female3
    4. male1
    5. female4

The time that represents the team’s final time would be that of male1.

    Important:

We will be traveling on closed roads. These cannot stay closed all day for us. All riders need to stay within a certain time limit and be aware of the cut-off times! Until km80 (Riedbergpass), every rider needs to maintain an average speed of 20.5 km/h to stay within the official race. This gives all participants 30 minutes more time to climb Riedbergpass than we had during the 2023 edition. Make it your challenge to stay within the cut-off time!
